Judith McDaniel, PhD, JD has been a teacher for many years. She began her academic career as a professor of English Literature and during the following years has added other areas of expertise to her teaching, including a law degree.

McDaniel has taught and written about sexual discrimination and harassment. Other areas of expertise include gender studies, international human rights law, women and the law, and women in western culture. She has worked with the Center for Constitutional Rights, the Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy, and the United Nations Gender Justice Caucus.

As a lawyer, she has experience in complaint processes and investigative procedures. She served as Chair of the Ethics Committee for a national organization and consultant for Title IX and other investigative procedures.
