The Master of Arts in International Security Studies is designed to prepare future decision makers and analysts to engage with complex and changing security challenges faced by the United States and the global community. As contemporary security necessitates the integration of all elements of national power,  the program seeks to address these challenges through a wider array of topics, including military force, technological innovation, and great power competition. Our rigorous but flexible program is designed for professional students interested in international affairs and seeking careers across a wide range of security-related fields, whether in government, the private sector, or nongovernmental organizations.

What will you learn?

Graduates of the Master of Arts in International Security Studies will be able to:
