Finishing Your Degree

 

Congratulations on reaching the finish line! In addition to finishing your coursework, there are a few important steps to complete before you can officially receive your degree. Here's what you need to do:

 

Step 1: Update Your Diploma Address

Before we can send your diploma, make sure the address we have on file is correct. To update your address:
  1. Go to UAccess Student Center > Personal > Personal Summary.
  2. Under "Personal Information Summary", select "Update Information".
  3. Select "Addresses" and either edit your existing Diploma address or select "Add New Address" if you don’t have one listed yet.

 

Step 2: Complete Your GradPath Forms

The ISS GradPath Tutorial will guide you through how to access, complete, and submit your required forms. These include:
  • Form 1: Responsible Conduct of Research Statement
  • Form 2: Plan of Study
  • Form 3: Master's/Specialist Committee Appointment Form
M.A. students must complete all 3 forms; Certificate students need to complete only Forms 1 and 2.

 

Step 3: Pay Your Candidacy Fee

Once your Plan of Study is submitted and approved, a candidacy fee will be billed to your Bursar account. This fee covers the processing and shipping of your diploma.

Stay on top of these steps to ensure a smooth and timely graduation process. You can expect to receive your diploma about one month after graduation. Congratulations again, and best of luck with the final stretch!
