Matías Bianchi is a political scientist with a PhD from the Institute d´Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), BA University of Buenos Aires, MSc University of Oxford and MPA Sciences Po. He has worked for the Latin American Program of the Woodrow Wilson Center, the UNDP, the Government of Argentina and the Development Center of the OECD and also led the Instituto Federal de Gobierno, the largest university based think tank in Argentina. Matías is the founder and director of Asuntos del Sur, a think tank focused on Latin American politics. He is also a consultant to organizations such as the Organization of American States, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the Open Government Partnership. His areas of interest include democratization processes, the emergence of new social movements and the transformations of politics in the digital age.
